This is an unprecedented time in our community. But as a community, we have risen to unexpected and urgent challenges before. United Way has always played a role in convening and mobilizing people around the most pressing needs in our community and this time is no different.

You can be the one to help by donating to our COVID-19 Community Response Fund.

Support for Individuals

Looking for help but not sure where to turn?

Community Mask Distribution

As the Region of Waterloo enters Phase 3 of reopening in Ontario, we want to ensure there is support for those who may not have access to masks. We have compiled a database that lists local mask distribution sites across the Region. We have also included information on how to donate masks.

Financial Relief Navigator

United Way Centride Canada is proud to support the Financial Relief Navigator (FRN), an English and French online tool providing a one-stop portal to help vulnerable Canadians access critical emergency benefits and financial relief from governments, financial institutions, telecoms and internet providers.

211 Ontario

United Way is proud to fund 211 Ontario. 211 is a free and confidential service that ensures access to information about community and social programs in Waterloo Region is only a phone call away.

Funded Organizations

The COVID-19 Community Response Fund is continuing to accept donations to support crisis-related needs of Waterloo Region charitable organizations.
