Women United Waterloo Region is a dynamic network of professional female leaders who believe in the power of collective giving and fundraising to drive lasting impact for women and children in our community.

As a Leadership Giving committee of the United Way, we are united by our desire to make a meaningful difference through our strategic giving, advocacy and fundraising efforts. We’re fueling local programs and initiatives that create a ripple effect of kindness, compassion, and generosity that will be felt for generations to come. We’re proud to be part of a larger movement of women who are using their skills, talents, and resources to create positive change in their communities.

What we do

We connect, engage, and mobilize women to volunteer, give, and lead in their communities, focusing on issues that affect women and girls.
Currently, Women United Waterloo Region runs two annual flagship events in the fall and spring, brining together our community.
Throughout the year, we provide opportunities for volunteering, advocacy, and leadership development.
As we grow, we seek to be recognized as a platform for women to network, learn, and grow with like-minded individuals and organizations who share our commitment to creating a more just and equitable community.
