Forever Fund

United Way Waterloo Region Communities looks for submissions from new partners

Forever Fund grants, generated by an endowment fund, are used to support programs and initiatives across Waterloo Region. Grants are available within the following two investment streams:

  • Mental Health support for families and children
  • Initiatives for seniors at risk

With just a week to go before the deadline for new applications, United Way is reaching out to the wider community.

An expressive arts therapy program for kids and their parents and a Friendship Connection initiative which brings teens together with seniors are just two examples of the programs currently powered by United Way Waterloo Region Communities’ Forever Fund.

“We are thrilled with the number of applications we’ve had so far,” says Brian Kamm, Specialist in Community Investment, “but we would very much like to see more coming in from partners not already supported by United Way. “You never know where the next great idea will come from,” says Kamm.

The deadline for Forever Fund applications is July 13th. Organizations can begin the process by emailing Brian Kamm.
